Shure Q5X AquaMic Waterproof Wireless Bodypack Transmitter

The Shure Q5X QT-AD10AL AquaMic Waterproof Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with Extended Battery & LEMO 6-Pin Connector (G57: 470 to 608 MHz) is a waterproof digital wireless bodypack transmitter with extended battery life and designed to work with the Axient Digital series of receivers. Lavalier enthusiasts will rejoice, as the transmitter comes with a LEMO 6-pin connector for the included audio connector nozzle, which your lavalier of choice (sold separately) can be attached to. Suited to everything from filmmaking to reality TV to broadcasting sports, the Shure Q5X QT-AD10AL AquaMic is a pro-quality waterproof mic that can be mounted on virtually anything with the Shure Q5X QT-AD10AL AquaMic Waterproof Wireless Bodypack Transmitter.

Engineered to handle unpredictable on-set conditions and inclement weather, the AquaMic features an IP68-rated waterproof aluminum casing without controls or a screen, making it impervious to dust and fully water-submersible at a depth up to 100 feet. Setup is handled remotely via the Q5X's Remote Control Audio System (RCAS) using the handheld MicCommander module (available separately). The transmitter provides up to 16 hours of operation on its built-in rechargeable battery and features a selectable 2/10/20mW RF output power.

Completely Submersible

• The QT-AD10AL Digital AquaMic is the waterproof version of the QT-AD10 family of transmitters and is fully submersible, making it ideal for any wet, dusty, or dirty application where a totally sealed transmitter is required. After use, the transmitter can be safely cleaned and sanitized before the next project.
• Used in reality TV, surfing competitions, professional kiteboarding, and America's Cup Yachting, the Q5X AquaMic has proven itself in extreme, wet environments. The AquaMic has also been buried in the dirt for Major League Baseball broadcasts. The RCAS (Remote Control Audio System) eliminates the need for any physical control elements on the transmitter, so there is no point of entry for moisture to access the electronics.

Remote Control Audio System

• The QT-AD10AL AquaMic utilizes RCAS (Remote Control Audio System), a revolutionary way to remotely control transmitter settings from a central computer or handheld remote control.
• The remote functions allow technicians to control on/off, monitor status, and battery level and make on-the-fly adjustments of frequency, mic offset, mic mute, RF power level, and grouping-all wirelessly.

6-Pin LEMO Microphone Available Separately

The AquaMic transmitter features Q5X's proprietary watertight 6-pin LEMO connector, and compatible microphones are available directly from Q5X. Alternatively, you can send your microphone to Q5X and have it retrofitted with a 6-pin LEMO connector.

While the AquaMic is compatible with a wide range of lavalier microphones, a mic with an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance is highly recommended, including the following models:
