The Nanuk 905 Padded Divider Hard Case (Black) houses delicate compact gear such as a camera, hard drives, binoculars, batteries, lenses, phones, or audio gear. Lightweight NK-7 polypropylene resin protects from the elements, with a waterproof, dustproof, and crushproof case for safe stowage. This 905 version across-model insert is included here: a multilayer cubed-foam insert that suits the 9.4 x 7.4 x 5.5" interior. It can be customized by adding foam to further shield your gear from vibrations; insert and close the lid with a velcro strip to hold it in place and design your own gear. Its molded-in bezel and gasket are held fast with two PowerClaw latches. This patented latch uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut to a waterproof and dustproof IP67 rating, with an integrated slide lock that prevents the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, there are two 0.3" diameter padlock holes integrated into the case and lid. The case features a built-in pressure relief valve that regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed during air travel and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. Further design features include an integrated lid stay that prevents the lid from closing on your hand, rustproof and strong stainless steel hardware, and a foldable soft-grip handle at the top.
