The Glyph Technologies Atom RAID 8TB USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C External SSD combines two 4TB SSDs to deliver a speedy 8TB capacity for both Mac and Windows systems. These slim M.2 SSDs are set up in a RAID 0 configuration, boosting data transfer speeds to a rapid 950 MB/s. To accommodate this enhanced performance, the Atom RAID features a USB-C 3.1 port with blazing 10 GB/s data transfer capabilities, all packed into a compact and reversible design.

The Glyph Technologies Atom RAID is preformatted for HFS+ with Journaling and compatible with Time Machine, letting it work right out of the box with a Mac. Reformatting is required for use with a Windows system. With a lightweight and rugged design, the Atom RAID is well suited for the rigors of daily travel. For compatibility with a wide range of USB products, Glyph includes a cable for directly connecting the Atom RAID to USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 systems along with a second cable that creates a connection with computers having a standard USB-A port.
