The Glyph Technologies 1TB Blackbox Plus 5400 rpm USB 3.1 Type-C External Hard Drive can be quickly plugged into systems with installed operating systems such as Windows Vista or later, and macOS 10.4 and later to immediately begin storing and offloading sensitive files. In addition to USB 3.1 Type-C compatibility, the Blackbox Plus also supports Thunderbolt 3 port connectivity, making it perfect for field work where both ruggedness and versatility are critical. Once connected, the external hard drive allows workflows to run at data rate speeds of up to 140 MB/s, ensuring that important files are being transported quickly and efficiently back and forth from the drive. After storage to the Blackbox Plus has been completed, the hard drive can be brought out into the field and exposed to the elements as its rubber housing protects against water and dust. Paired with ruggedness, the Blackbox Plus is formatted for the Mac operating system and is immediately compatible with Windows, just by performing a simple reformat. The drive ships with a USB 3.1 Type-C to USB 3.1 Type-C cable as well as a USB 3.1 Type-C to USB 3.0/2.0 Type-A cable. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year advanced replacement warranty, a limited 2-year level 1 data recovery warranty, and a limited 3-year hardware warranty with the Glyph Technologies 1TB Blackbox Plus 5400 rpm USB 3.1 Type-C External Hard Drive.
